Edward Price per ship Governor Ready, assigned to John Bingle, charged with leaving his station without permission....John Bingle states - the prisoner is employed as a shepherd - On the 17th instant he left his station without leave and did not report himself until the following morning....The prisoner states in his defence that he had reported himself to the overseer as being unwell and he promised to send a man in his place, but admits the man had not arrived at the station when he left...The Bench find the prisoner guilty and sentence him to receive twenty five lashes
